We spent the most blissful fortnight as a family at Kalimera; the first time we had ever been to Skopelos, and what a beautiful place from which to explore. The house is in an idyllic location up in the hills, yet a short distance from Skopelos Town - making it a perfect hideaway for anyone who seeks privacy and tranquillity, but doesn't want to be too far away from civilisation. The house far exceeded our expectations, it took our breath away when we arrived: the views are extraordinary, the gardens and pool so beautifully maintained, and the house itself brims with a creative character and charm. Throughout the year we travel extensively both for work and pleasure, and over time we have stayed in many different places across the world, but we have to say that we were in absolute heaven at Villa Kalimera: for us the peace, beauty and charm of the house high on the hill stole our heart.

Che dire. La casa è semplicemente meravigliosa. Niente di schick e moderno, ma l'atmosfera che si respira è magica e tutto all'interno di villa kalimera trasmette tranquillità. L'arredo etnico, l'oggettistica artigianale, la miriade di cuscini, amache, e punti relax rendono il soggiorno veramente piacevole. I pezzi forti della casa sono indubbiamente il terrazzino dalla vista mozzafiato, ed il giardino che nelle prime ore calde del pomeriggio ci ha permesso di rilassarci in modo straordinario. E' grande, ombreggiato, con la piscina da cui si vede un incantevole panorama. Non saprei dire se abbiamo passato più tempo dentro casa o nel giardino! C'è un enorme albero di fichi, e uno di susine, giusto per addolcire le colazioni all'aperto, e poi tutto è attorniato da ulivi, piante speziali, e muretti a secco. Senza ombra di dubbio, se cercate alloggio a Skopelos, qui trovate un pezzo di paradiso. Grazie di tutto!
